• -269 to 0 AW: Sylas lives as a scavenger, developing "Soul-Binding" magic to resist the arcane rot.
• ~ -50 to 0 AW: Rise of The Vanguard of Dawn (Human Paladin, Dwarven Cleric, Elven Ranger, Halfling Rogue).
• 0 AW: The End of the Age of Ruin. The Vanguard of Dawn defeats the Abyssal Lord Mal'Ganis. Modern calendar (After Wastes) begins.

Era I: The Dawning Age (1 - 150 AW)

• 0-50 AW: Rebuilding era. Magical wards are established to protect the continents from the Mana Wastes.
• 12 AW: Foundation of the Southern Wards. High King Durnar the Iron-Willed commissions the Great Anchor-Stones in Dal-Dur to keep Aetheric Backwash at bay.
• 50-150 AW: Dwarves solidify control over Northern (Steamfort) and Southern (Dal-Dur) territories. Elven refugees begin gathering in the eastern forests.

Era II: The Arcanum Wars (151 - 320 AW)

• 180 AW: Discovery of concentrated Aether-crystals leads to a global magical arms race.
• 180-190 AW: Birth of Commander Vane (estimated).
• 210-225 AW: The War of Sunder.

Part II: Consistency Pass & Proposed Fixes

1. The "Elven Forest" Discrepancy

• Inconsistency: History_of_Aethervale.md states elves retreated to the eastern forests and Lemmion between 50-150 AW, but Ascension_of_the_Matriarch.md dates the "Founding of Lemmion" to 245 AW.
• Fix: Clarify that 50-150 AW was the period of diaspora and migration, where elven refugees lived as nomadic tribes healing the forests. 245 AW marks the discovery of the specific hidden valley and the formal political founding of the Enclave as a sovereign city-state under Sylas's rule.

2. Sylas Moonsong's Lifespan

• Inconsistency: User prompt mentions an 800-year lifespan, but calculations based on "50 years old at start of Age of Ruin" and "523 AW" result in 842 years.
• Fix: The reference to "over 800 years" in various lore files remains accurate as a general descriptor, but the specific age of 842 is the canonical internal date.

3. The Duration of the Age of Ruin

• Inconsistency: Early lore files were vague about the length of the Age of Ruin.
• Fix: Based on Sylas's age and the 0 AW start point, the Age of Ruin is now solidified as lasting 269 years (from -269 AW to 0 AW).

4. The "Sunder" Naming Confusion

• Observation: There is a "Sunder of 12AR" (Age of Ruin event) and a "War of Sunder" (210-225 AW).
• Fix: These are distinct events. The "Sunder of 12AR" refers to the localized collapse of elven magical infrastructure during the Ruin, while the "War of Sunder" is the global conflict involving the Arcane Ascendancy. Added clarification to the timeline.

5. Forge-Lord Durgrim's Age

• Observation: Durgrim signed the Treaty in 420 AW and is still leader in 523 AW.
• Fix: As a dwarf (lifespan ~350 years), being a Forge-Lord at age ~150 in 420 AW and age ~253 in 523 AW is perfectly consistent with dwarven biology. His "Iron Lung" condition explains his transition toward a mechanical existence to further extend his life.
