Lira of the Wastes

Title: Hermit of the Ashen Peak
Role: Lira is a dwarf who chose to live on the surface, near the edge of the Mana Wastes. She lives in a small, fortified hut and spends her days monitoring the "Aetheric Winds." She is a master of survival and has developed a resistance to the chaotic magic of the Wastes. She is often the first person to spot "Wastes-Beasts" approaching Dal-Dur.

Secret Motivation: Lira is a former member of the Deep-Watch who was "exiled" for seeing something she shouldn't have: a High Council mage from Kigum meeting with a dragon cultist in the Wastes. She is gathering evidence to prove the connection between the Spire and the Obsidian Scale. She uses a "Far-Speaker" (a mechanical communication device) to send cryptic warnings to her contacts inside the city.

Adventure Hook: Lira’s hut is attacked by a "Void-Gargant." She sends a distress signal to the party, asking for their help to defend her home and secure her "Evidence Box."
