Unlike the clean, magical aesthetic of Kigum, Steamfort is a city of brass, iron, smoke, and steam. They have harnessed raw Aether-crystals to power massive steam engines, creating a technological revolution.

Primarily Dwarven, with a large population of humans and gnomes who come for the engineering academies.

Military Might

Steamfort relies on mechanized warfare. They possess the world's only fleet of Ironclad Airships—massive, slow, but heavily armored floating fortresses armed with repeating cannons. They also utilize early firearms and steam-powered exosuits for their elite infantry.

Geopolitics

Steamfort controls the North and has a strong alliance with the Southern dwarven stronghold of Dal-Dur. They despise the arrogant mages of Kigum and are constantly seeking to secure more Aether-crystal mines to fuel their growing industry. They frequently clash with the Giantfolk raiders from the northeast.

Points of Interest: The Forge-Heart Stadium

Steamfort is home to the Forge-Heart Stadium, a brutalist masterpiece of iron and brass. Built within a hollowed-out volcanic vent, the arena is known for its "High-Gravity" matches and the roaring heat of the nearby forges. It is the home pitch of the Steamfort Ironclads, and the crowd is notorious for its rowdy, blue-collar enthusiasm. During the playoffs, the entire city's steam-whistles are used to signal goals, a sound that can be heard across the entire continent.
