Master Wright Lira

Master Wright Lira is the most talented "Wind-Wright" in The Crown City of Ardor and the head of the Glider Hangar at The Leaf-Kite Docks. A meticulous and highly intelligent Briar-Kin, Lira is responsible for the design and maintenance of the city's entire fleet of leaf-kites. She is a master of "Aether-Tuning," a technique that uses small amounts of resonant energy to strengthen and lighten the organic materials used in Muridae gliders.

Lira is a perfectionist. She views every kite she builds as a work of art and is known to personally test every new design before it is released for public or military use. She has a deep respect for the Acorn Guard, particularly Flight-Leader Pippin, whose daring maneuvers provide her with the data she needs to constantly improve her designs.

While she spends most of her time in the hangar, Lira is also an expert scavenger, frequently visiting the Barnacle Market in search of rare "surface-world" fabrics and adhesives that can be incorporated into her work.

Secret Motivation: Lira is secretly obsessed with the idea of "Mechanical Flight." She has been collecting diagrams of Steamfort airships and hopes to one day build a hybrid leaf-kite that uses a small steam-engine for propulsion, allowing the Mousefolk to travel even when the winds are still.

Adventure Hook: Lira’s personal experimental leaf-kite—which incorporates a rare aether-stabilizer—has been stolen from her private workshop. She suspects that a rival wright from Drift-Haven has taken it and hires the party to recover it before it is sold to a Pirate Lord.
