Driftwood Skiff

Driftwood Skiff
Adventuring Gear (vehicle), uncommon
The Driftwood Skiff is the primary mode of water transport for the Mist-Whiskers of Drift-Haven. These small boats (usually 10-15 feet long) are designed to navigate the tight, winding paths of the mangrove root-labyrinth. They are built from the naturally buoyant wood of the Mother-Tree's outer roots and often feature sails made from scavenged ship-canvas and steering-oars made from metal scrap.
Properties
1. Maneuverability: The skiff has advantage on all checks made to navigate narrow passages or to avoid underwater obstacles.
2. Shallow Draft: The skiff can navigate in waters as shallow as 1 foot deep.
3. Mist-Sails: Many skiffs are equipped with sails that have been treated with aether-oil. These sails catch the slightest movement of the magical mist, allowing the boat to move at a speed of 15 feet even when there is no wind.
4. Durability: The skiff has 50 hit points and an AC of 13. It is resistant to bludgeoning damage from collisions.
Crew & Capacity
Crew: 1-2 Muridae (or 1 Medium-sized creature). Capacity: 500 lbs (for cargo and crew).
Travel Speed: 3 miles per hour (in normal conditions). In heavy mist, the speed is reduced to 1 mile per hour unless a Mist-Whisker navigator is present.
