Aether-Infused Acorn

Aether-Infused Acorn
Wondrous Item, uncommon
These acorns are harvested from the most resonant branches of the Mother-Tree and are prized for their ability to store and release Aetheric energy. They are roughly the size of a human fist and glow with a soft, pulsing light that mirrors the heartbeat of the tree.
Properties
1. Energy Source: An Aether-Infused Acorn can be used to power a medium-sized clockwork device or aetheric tool (like a Portable Aether-Siphon) for 24 hours. After this time, the acorn becomes inert.
2. Burst of Vitality: As an action, you can crush the acorn. You (or a creature you touch) regains 2d4 + 2 hit points and is cured of any non-magical poison.
3. Mist-Beacon: While held, the acorn emits a 20-foot radius of dim light. This light can be seen through magical fog and provides advantage on Survival checks made to navigate The Shrouded Boughs.
4. Inert State: Once its energy is spent, the acorn can be replanted. If planted within the Boughs, it has a 5% chance of growing into a new (smaller) mangrove tree over several years.
