Infected elves and humanoids eventually turn into crystalline Void-conduits, while infected treants twist into "Whisper-Hulks"—vegetative husks that emit a constant, soul-corrupting hum. The party must enter the silenced woods, find the "First Sigher" at the plague’s core, and end the resonance before it spreads to the rest of the continent.
Key NPCs & Motivations
- Elder Lorith (Master of Illusions): An exhausted elf maintaining a massive Zone of Silence over the enclave. He is dying from the effort and needs the party to find a permanent solution.
- The First Sigher: The patient zero and an Avatar of the Void, radiating a crushing metaphysical pressure. It exudes a Void-based resonance that weighs upon the party's minds rather than producing physical sound.
The Setting: The Whispering Woods

Narrative Outcomes & Loot

- Failure: The plague spreads. Wyn_Dor becomes a silent graveyard, and the "Sighing" reaches Kigum, triggering a global pandemic.
