Gunnar Ironheart

Identity: Admiral of the Steamfort Airship Fleet, Leader of House Ironheart Location: Steamfort / The Skies of Aethervale

Admiral Gunnar Ironheart is a man of the sky, more comfortable on the bridge of an ironclad than on solid ground. As the leader of House Ironheart, he commands Steamfort's legendary fleet of Aether-powered airships. He is a daring and brilliant tactician, known for his aggressive maneuvers and his unwavering belief in the superiority of air-power. He wears a heavy, fur-lined flight jacket and always carries a brass spyglass that has survived a dozen aerial battles.

Gunnar is a man of action who finds the slow-moving politics of the Syndicate frustrating. He is a staunch advocate for Steamfort's expansion, believing that the city's future lies in controlling the Aether-currents from above. Despite his aggressive stance, he has a deep respect for his crew and will never ask them to take a risk he wouldn't take himself. He is a hero to the people of Steamfort, his name synonymous with the city's industrial and military might.
