Lieutenant Scrit

Lieutenant Scrit is the disciplined and efficient second-in-command of the Acorn Guard’s "Storm-Wings" flight, serving directly under Flight-Leader Pippin. While Pippin provides the inspiration and the daring maneuvers, Scrit is the one who handles the logistics, the duty-rosters, and the rigorous training of the newer recruits. He is a pragmatic Briar-Kin who believes that flair is no substitute for solid training and reliable equipment.

Scrit is often the "voice of reason" during Pippin’s more reckless moments. He has a deep respect for his commander’s talent, but he is always ready to point out the risks and to provide a tactical alternative. He is a master of the Leaf-Kite and is known for his ability to maintain perfect formation even in the most chaotic aerial battles.

He is a mouse of few words, preferring to let his actions and his impeccably maintained gear speak for him. He is highly valued by Grand Warden Hekka for his reliability and his ability to keep the "Storm-Wings" organized during long deployments.

Secret Motivation: Scrit is secretly studying "Aetheric Meteorology." He believes that the forest’s magical mist is not just a defensive barrier, but a complex data-stream that can be used to predict the movements of every airship in Aethervale.

Adventure Hook: Scrit has identified a pattern of unusual wind-fluctuations that suggests a massive object—something much larger than a gull—is approaching the forest from the high-aether. He needs the party to help him set up a series of high-altitude "Wind-Meters" to track the object's path.
