Countess Lysandra

Title: Social Liaison of the High Council
Role: Lysandra is the life of every party in Kigum. Her job is to manage the relationships between the mages of the Spire and the visiting dignitaries from Steamfort and the Elven Enclaves. She is a master of etiquette and a fountain of gossip, often knowing who is sleeping with whom and who is plotting a coup before the participants even know themselves.

Secret Motivation: Lysandra is a high-ranking member of a secret society that believes Aurelius the Golden is actually a dragon. Unlike others who fear this, she worships him. She uses her position to identify and neutralize any threats to the "Golden One’s" reputation, often through subtle poisonings or social ruin. She is currently tracking a group of "truth-seekers" who are getting too close to the Bank's core secrets.

Adventure Hook: Lysandra invites the party to a private dinner, where she asks them to "deal with" a persistent journalist who is claiming to have proof of dragon activity in the city. She offers a massive reward, but the task is clearly an assassination.
