Sylas made a pact with an entity she believed to be a benevolent forest spirit, entirely unaware that Xylira was, in truth, an ancient Green Dragon of immense power who had claimed the valley as her hoard-nest. Keeping her true draconic identity and manipulative agenda hidden from the elf, Xylira provided a seed—a pulsating, emerald crystal containing the distilled essence of a primal forest from the First Era. In exchange, Sylas agreed that Lemmion would serve as a sacred sanctuary, unwittingly agreeing to cultivate Xylira's "living garden" and protecting the hidden entity from the rising tides of the other races.

The Planting

The Heart was embedded directly into Matriarch Sylas Moonsong's chest, merging her soul with the Heart-Tree at the center of Lemmion. As it grew, it radiated a field of "Pure Mana" that cleansed the surrounding area of the Wastes' corruption. However, this purity is artificial.
