Captain Julian

Captain Julian is a high-ranking officer in the Arcane Guard of Kigum and the charismatic leader of the "Iron Hand"—a secret military conspiracy within the city’s defensive forces. He is a man of striking appearance, always wearing his gleaming, enchanted plate armor and a deep crimson cloak. Julian is a decorated war hero, beloved by his soldiers and highly respected by the Kigum nobility. He possesses a calm, commanding presence and is known for his unwavering commitment to the "security and sovereignty of Kigum."

He believes that the High Council of Mages has become too soft and that the city’s reliance on diplomacy and trade with Steamfort is a weakness that must be corrected through a military coup.

Secret Motivation: Julian is not acting alone. He is being funded and guided by Aurelius the Golden, who believes that a more militaristic Kigum would be better for the Bank’s long-term stability—and more predictable to control.

Adventure Hook: A young initiate of the Arcane Guard has discovered a "list of targets" in Julian’s private quarters. Fearing for their life, they approach the party to help them deliver the list to the High Council before the "Night of Iron" begins.
