Cinder Aura.At the start of each of the Avatar's turns, each creature within 10 feet of it takes 14 (4d6) fire damage. A creature that touches the Avatar or hits it with a melee attack while within 10 feet of it takes 14 (4d6) fire damage.
Illumination.The Avatar sheds bright light in a 60-foot radius and dim light for an additional 60 feet.

Actions

Multiattack.The Avatar makes three attacks: two with its Cinder Maul and one with its Hurl Flame.
Cinder Maul.Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 30 (4d10 + 9) bludgeoning damage plus 18 (4d8) fire damage.
Hurl Flame.Ranged Spell Attack: +14 to hit, range 150 ft., one target. Hit: 35 (10d6) fire damage. If the target is a flammable object that isn't being worn or carried, it also catches fire.
Cataclysmic Eruption (Recharge 5-6).The Avatar unleashes a wave of molten energy. Each creature within 60 feet must make a DC 22 Dexterity saving throw, taking 91 (26d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. The ground in that area becomes difficult terrain (cooled lava) until cleared.

Legendary Actions

Heat Wave.The Avatar targets one creature it can see within 60 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 22 Constitution saving throw or take 21 (6d6) fire damage and gain one level of exhaustion from the extreme heat.
Teleport.The Avatar magically teleports, along with any equipment it is wearing or carrying, up to 120 feet to an unoccupied space it can see.
Maul Attack (Costs 2 Actions).The Avatar makes one Cinder Maul attack.

Avatar Of The Cinder King

The Avatar of the Cinder King is a towering manifestation of Ignis-Kaan’s lingering will, a colossus composed of cooling obsidian and roaring, white-hot Aether-flame. It stands nearly thirty feet tall, its presence warping the air with extreme heat and filling the area with the smell of scorched earth. Unlike true elementals, the Avatar possesses a cruel, draconic intelligence and a deep-seated hatred for all things that have not been touched by fire.

It is often summoned near major Aether Nodes by the Obsidian Scale cultists, acting as a living engine of destruction to "purify" the land in preparation for their master’s return. Its maul, forged from a fragment of the world’s core, is said to be able to shatter the strongest magical wards.

Secret Motivation: The Avatar is not just a guardian; it is a siphon. Every soul it incinerates sends a pulse of energy directly to the slumbering Ignis-Kaan, accelerating his awakening. It seeks out the most powerful souls—heroes and high mages—to feed the Cinder King's hunger.

Adventure Hook: A "Fire-Storm" that never ends has settled over a key mining district in Steamfort. Refugees report a "Burning God" walking through the forge-fires, and the city's leaden walls are beginning to melt. The party is hired to find a way to quench the Avatar before the district becomes a permanent lake of lava.
