Cinderforge Hold

Location: The Lifeless Swells, Giantfolk Territories, Northern Continent

Cinderforge Hold is a sprawling, brutalist settlement built directly into the jagged obsidian cliffs of the Lifeless Swells. It serves as the primary gathering point for the Cinder-Skulls tribe and a central trading hub for the disparate Giantfolk clans under Jarl Throm-Ka's rule.

The architecture is massive and imposing, designed to withstand both the intense geothermal activity of the region and potential attacks from Steamfort incursions. Buildings are carved from dark volcanic rock and reinforced with crude but incredibly resilient aether-forged iron.

At the heart of the Hold lies the Great Smelter, an open-air forge powered by a localized lava vent. Here, giantfolk smiths craft their devastating weapons and heavy armor, the rhythmic pounding of their hammers echoing across the desolate landscape.

Despite its harsh appearance, Cinderforge Hold has a functioning, albeit chaotic, economy centered around the trade of raw Aether crystals, rare volcanic minerals, and scavenged Steamfort technology.
