The architecture is a study in magical opulence, with every piece of furniture enchanted to appear as if it were made of solid, polished gold. The air is perfectly climate-controlled and infused with a subtle, calming lavender scent that masks the metallic tang of the surrounding wards.

The tavern is owned by Lord Valerius's third cousin, a man known for his impeccable taste and his ability to keep a secret. The signature drink is Interest Rate Ale, a complex, multi-layered beer that literally becomes more expensive the longer you take to drink it (enchanted mugs track the time). The Gilded Tankard is a place where global policies are discussed over fine wine, and where a single nod of the head can decide the fate of entire industries. It is the ultimate display of Kigum's wealth and its complete disconnection from the struggles of the world outside its walls.

Plot Hooks:

• The Golden Sabotage: A group of "Gear Grinder" rebels plans to infiltrate the tavern and "de-gild" the furniture during a high-profile meeting, revealing the common stone beneath. The party must prevent the embarrassment.
• The Overheard Secret: The party is hired to go undercover as servers at The Gilded Tankard to overhear a specific conversation between two noble house leaders.
• The Tankard's Curse: A patron has been cursed by an enchanted tankard, causing them to literally turn into gold. The party must find the source of the curse and reverse it before the transformation is permanent.
