Title: The Needle of the Lake-Rats
Role: Shiv is a young tiefling with a talent for assassination and sabotage. She is Sly the Grinner’s top lieutenant and the one who handles the gang’s more "dangerous" assignments. She is a master of poisons and uses a pair of "Void-Daggers" that can cut through almost any material.

Ideals & Flaws

Secret Motivation: Shiv is a secret devotee of the "Emerald Dreamer," Xylira. She believes that the green dragon is the only one who can "purify" the world and that Fortune's Lake should be the first to be consumed. She has been "planting" emerald seeds in the town’s foundation, which she believes will one day grow into a massive, poisonous forest that will reclaim the Wastes.

Rumors & Whispers

• True: She has been seen meeting with a hooded figure in the Wastes, often carrying heavy, pulsating burlap sacks.
• False: She is actually the daughter of the local Magistrate and is working undercover to dismantle the gang from within.

Adventure Hook: Shiv asks the party to help her "deliver a package" to a specific location in the forest. The package contains a "Growth-Catalyst" that will accelerate the emerald seeds’ germination.
