Oracle Maelis

Title: The Drowned Seer
Role: Maelis is a woman who was "resurrected" by a sea-spirit after her ship was destroyed in a storm. She now resides in a sea-cave near the Cove, where she provides the pirates with "glimpses of the future" in exchange for "offerings of gold and blood." She is a woman of eerie calm and unsettling knowledge.

Secret Motivation: Maelis is being "possessed" by the spirit of a long-dead dragon priest. The priest is using her to find the location of the "First Brood’s Crown," an artifact that can control the minds of all dragons. She is currently leading the party to a "Sunken Temple" where the crown is supposedly hidden, but she is actually leading them into a trap.

Adventure Hook: Maelis provides the party with a "Vision of Glory" that shows them finding the Crown. They must decide whether to follow the vision or investigate the "dark shadows" that are starting to manifest in her cave.
