Appearance

Captain "Sinker" Sal is a massive half-orc with a mechanical, brass jaw and a heavy harpoon-gun grafted directly to his left arm. He wears a thick, oil-stained diving suit reinforced with salvaged metal plates and a helmet that looks like it was once part of a pressure-vault.

Personality

Boisterous, violent, and surprisingly jolly, Sal treats every naval battle like a high-stakes game of sport. He has a deep love for the "crunch" of a ship's hull and treats his crew of Gilded Claw smugglers like his own personal wrecking crew.

Secret Motives

Sal is a former Steamfort naval engineer who was "dishonorably discharged" for using excessive force during a routine patrol. He now seeks to prove that his "Sinker" tactics—attacking ships from below with depth-charges and harpoons—are the future of naval warfare, and he intends to sink the entire Steamfort blockade to prove it.

Combat Tactics

Sal commands a fleet of miniature, stealthy submarines that focus on damaging the hulls of larger vessels. In personal combat, he uses his grafted harpoon-gun to drag enemies into the water and then uses "Depth-Charge" grenades to finish them. He is incredibly durable and can use his mechanical jaw to deliver a bone-crushing bite.
