Ecology

Clockwork Golems are the standard-issue heavy labor and security constructs of the Argentari Empire. They are found in high-security vaults and deep industrial sectors, built for extreme durability and the relentless execution of their programmed tasks. Unlike other golems, they are composed of thousands of interlocking gears and ticking timers.

Combat Mechanics

The Clockwork Golem can manipulate its own internal flow of time, allowing it to cast Slow or Haste on itself as a bonus action once per short rest. It is resistant to most forms of damage and possesses an "Internal Repair" mechanism that allows it to regain 10 hit points at the start of its turn if it has at least 1 hit point and scrap metal is nearby. It is vulnerable to effects that warp or rust metal.

Loot

The remains of a golem yield "Refined Clockwork Parts" and a "Ticking Heart." The parts are essential for high-level mechanical crafting, and the heart can be used to create a Helm of Comprehend Languages.
