Kobolds of the Sub-Terran Accord are legendary for their traps. Use these tables to quickly generate a unique and deadly obstacle for your players.
Step 1: The Trigger

Step 2: The Mechanism

Sample Trap: "The Crushing Light"
- Trigger: Trip-Beam (DC 17 to spot).
- Mechanism: Gravity Shift (5x stronger). Creatures in the area are knocked prone and their speed becomes 0. They take 22 (4d10) force damage at the start of each of their turns.
- Counter: A hidden "Off-Switch" is located on the ceiling, reachable only with magic or a difficult climb (DC 20).
