Sister Mercy of the Sick-Ward

Title: Healer of the Hollowed
Role: Mercy is a dwarf who runs the city’s "Sick-Ward," treating miners who have been injured or affected by "Stone-Lung." she is a woman of immense patience and compassion, often working through the night to save her patients. She is a vocal critic of the Syndicate’s safety standards.

Secret Motivation: Mercy has noticed that some of her patients are not just sick—they are "transforming." Their skin is becoming hard and scaly, and they are developing a "hunger for gold." She suspects that the "Stone-Lung" is actually a "Dragon-Blight" caused by the mining of corrupted Aether. She is trying to create a "Blight-Cure" using elven herbs she bought from a smuggler.

Adventure Hook: Mercy’s clinic is raided by the Stone-Guard, who want to "quarantine" her patients (actually, they want to hide the evidence of the Blight). She asks the party to help her move her patients to a secret location in the lower tunnels.
