Role: Scout and Guide
Description: Pete is a scrawny kobold with a missing ear and a tail that's been broken and reset several times. He hangs around the Rusty Valve Tavern, offering his services as a guide through the labyrinthine pipe network of Kigum. He knows which pipes are safe to crawl through, which are likely to burst, and where the "steam-spirits" tend to congregate.

The Hook: Pete claims to have found a "shortcut" that bypasses the main security gates of the Kigum treasury. He's looking for a group of "tall-folk" to help him retrieve a shiny object he saw through a grate—an object that he swears is "talking" to him.
