Myra Vane

Myra Vane
Myra Vane is a prodigy student at the Kigum Spire, known for her unsettlingly vast knowledge of necrotic Aether and ancient history. While she bears the Vane name, she is officially listed as a distant cousin of Baroness Valeriane Vane. She is quiet, observant, and possesses a memory that spans centuries—far longer than her sixteen years of life would suggest.
In reality, Myra is a Soul-Clone of Kel’Thuz the Whispering Lich, created through a forbidden ritual that involved splintering a fragment of his original consciousness before his complete descent into lichdom. She was intended to be a "receptacle" for his soul should his phylactery ever be destroyed, but she has begun to develop a burgeoning identity of her own.
Secret Motivation: Myra is terrified of the Lich. She has discovered that her "dreams" are actually his memories, and she is desperately searching for a way to sever the metaphysical cord that binds them before he decides to "reclaim" her body.
Adventure Hook: Myra approaches the party in a crowded Kigum market, slipping them a note written in an ancient, dead language. She needs them to steal a specific "Soul-Anchor" from the Spire's restricted archives—an item she believes can protect her mind from the Lich's influence.
