Prophetic Insight.When Mother Void finishes a long rest, she rolls two d20s and records the numbers rolled. She can replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by her or a creature she can see with one of these rolls.

Void Bolt.Ranged Spell Attack: +9 to hit, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (4d10) psychic damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or be blinded until the start of its next turn.
Devouring Emptiness (Recharge 6).Mother Void creates a 20-foot-radius sphere of magical darkness centered on a point she can see within 60 feet. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw, taking 35 (10d6) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Title: High Priestess of the Hollow
Role: Mother Void is a woman who has completely covered herself in tattered black rags. She leads a small cult of outcasts who worship the "Void" as a cleansing force that will eventually consume the world and return it to a state of perfect nothingness. She is a woman of terrifying intensity and strange, prophetic powers.

Secret Motivation: Mother Void is being "whispered to" by the Ancient Red Dragon Ignis-Kaan. The dragon is using her to spread a "Doomsday Prophecy" that will demoralize the people of Aethervale and make them more susceptible to his influence. She is currently preparing a "Grand Sacrifice" in the center of the lake, which will actually be a ritual to summon a fragment of Ignis-Kaan’s soul.

Adventure Hook: Mother Void’s followers begin "kidnapping" citizens of Fortune's Lake. The party is hired by a worried family member to infiltrate the cult and stop the sacrifice.
