The Siphon-Construct is a rusted, ancient automaton from the height of the Kigum Empire. Originally built as maintenance drones for the global Aether-network, many have been reawakened and reprogrammed by fanatical druids to defend the ancient Mana-Siphons. They are a complex mix of brass gears, copper tubing, and pulsing Aether-conduits that hum with a high-pitched, mechanical whine.

Combat Mechanics

The construct can "siphon" magical energy from nearby spellcasters, using the drained power to fuel its devastating "Aether-Beam"—a 60-foot line of raw magical energy. It possesses a high AC due to its reinforced brass plating but is vulnerable to lightning damage, which can cause its internal circuits to short, temporarily stunning the machine. It can also release a burst of steam as a reaction to being hit in melee.

The heart of the machine is a "Prismatic Power-Core," a high-capacity Aether-battery that is invaluable to artificers and can be used to power a variety of complex mechanical devices.
